Rashmika Mandanna teamed up with newbie director Shantharuban for her first-ever female-focused movie titled “Rainbow”. Tamil’s well-known production house Dream Warrior Pictures will bankroll the movie. Rainbow will be made as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and it is a fantasy romantic entertainer with a novel concept. The title poster that shows various elements looks quite interesting.
Shaakuntalam fame Dev Mohan will be seen in a vital role. KM Bhaskaran has been roped in for cinematography while Justin Prabhakaran scored the music.

On the other hand, Rashmika is set to recast her iconic character Srivalli in the spinoff to Pushpa: The Rule alongside Allu Arjun. She also revealed a second movie with Venky Kudmula, tentatively titled VNRTrio.
