Kida, starring Kaali Venkat, Poo Ramu in the lead, is scheduled to stream on AHA Tamil from December 15. The film, which went across the film festival circuit, hit theatres on November 11. It received positive reviews from the critics, however, was not able to showcase its magic on the screen.
Kida is written and directed by debutant filmmaker Ra.Venkat. Kaali Venkat plays the role of a meat seller in the film. It also features Deepan, Paandiyamma and others.
Worth a Look
Kida tells a humble story of a grandfather and his struggles to fulfil the Deepavali wish of his grandson. Prior to the theatrical release of the film, it was screened at IFFI, Jagran Film Festival, Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and Chennai Film Festival.
