Naga Chaitanya, who was recently seen in webseries 'Dhootha', has kickstarted shooting for his next film 'Thandel', with Sai Pallavi. The duo earlier joined forces for 'Love Story' in 2021. They are currently shooting the film in Udupi.
The movie is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. 'Thandel' marks Naga Chaitanya's third collaboration with Mondeti, after 'Premam'(2016) and 'Savyasachi'(2018).

The Custody actor portrays the titular character, a fisherman, in 'Thandel'. Prior to commencing the shoot, he dedicated himself to rigorous training and thorough preparation to embody this role.
Thandel is presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Bunny Vasu. The music in the film is being composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
