7 bollywood movies release directly on Disney+Hotstar




After Amazon Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar planned to release the 7 bollywood movies directly on OTT. Due to COVID-19 pandemic in india, the film industry has decided that they will be releasing some of the upcoming movies on OTT channels itself. Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription is available on 399 per year.

Dil Bechara

Sushant Singh Rajput last movie is Dil Bechara directed by Mukesh Chhabra. This movie is based on the novel "The Fault in Our Stars" written by John Green. The film revolves around a young, cancer survivor and a cancer patient who end up falling in love. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana Sanghi, Saif Ali Khan. Music composed by A.R.Rahman.

Sushant’s last theatrical release was Chhichhore which released last year and it even made it to the 100 crore club. Disney+Hotstar officially announced the release date of the movie is July 24, 2020 also the streaming platform is making the movie available to even the non-subscribers.


Laxmmi Bomb

Muni, Kanchana tamil movie popular Raghava Lawrence directed on this film. Akshay’s first collaboration with actor-director Raghava Lawrence. It is a remake of the Tamil movie Muni 2: Kanchana and stars Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Tusshar Kapoor, Tarun Arora. Akshay Kumar plays the role of a transgender. The plot revolves around a man who is afraid of all things supernatural, but through a twist of fate, he is forced to confront his fear as his body gets possessed by the spirit of Laxmmi.

Akshay Kumar said "In my entire 30-year-long career, this has been my most intensive role mentally. I’ve never experienced such a character before, with this kind of action, reaction, body language. The Big Bull

The Big Bull - a biopic on the life of stock market king Harshad Mehta's life involving his financial crimes. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Ileana D'Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Sohum Shah, Ram Kapoor. The film is directed by Kookie Gulati. The Big Bull’s first look was released in with the tagline "The man who sold dreams to India".


Bhuj: The Pride of India

Written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the movie, Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, it is about the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then in-charge of the Bhuj airport, Gujarat who and his team reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 local women.

Ajay Devgn plays the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. Sanjay Dutt, Rana Daggubati, Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra and Ammy Virk will also be seen in pivotal roles. Released first look posters for Devgn and Sanjay Dutt by Disney+Hotstar, release date will be updated soon.


Khuda Haafiz

Khuda Haafiz is Romantic action thriller film directed by Faruk Kabir. Inspired by some real incidents, the film features Vidyut Jammwal, Shivaleeka Oberoi, Annu Kapoor, Shiv Panditt.The release date of Khuda Haafiz is yet to be announced.

Vidyut Jammwal said, “I’m really excited about doing this romantic action film based on a real life love story in a very contemporary setting. With incidents based on actual events, this could be one of the biggest and most memorable action thrillers of our time. Very proud to be part of such a great team to tell a truly gripping tale”.


Sadak 2

Sadak 2 directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Mukesh Bhatt. The sequel to the 1991 Sadak, will mark the return of Mahesh Bhatt as the director. The film features Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film was shot in Ooty, Mumbai, Mysore and Uttarakhand. The film is about Ravi's depression and how he helps a young woman's encounter with a godman, who is out to expose this fake guru running an ashram.

Alia Bhatt said, “The journey of Sadak began with three people – Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt. Aditya (Roy Kapur) and I are newbies in this Sadak universe. The entire family has got together to make this film and hence the emotions were at a different level all together”.


Lootcase

The Rajesh Krishnan directorial also features Kunal Khemu, Gajraj Rao, Rasika Dugal, Ranvir Shorey and Vijay Raaz. Produced by Fox Star Studios. The plot of Lootcase revolves around a middle-aged family man who comes across a red-coloured suitcase full of money.The music for the film was composed by Rohan-Vinayak and Amar Mangrulkar, while the lyrics written by Shreyas Jain and Kapil Sawant.
