God of Mass Nandamuri Balakrishna also known as NBK is back with another action flick called ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ directed by Krack fame Gopichand Malineni. The flick was released on 12 January 2023, coinciding on the Sankranthi weekend. It was a box-office hit despite heavy competition from Chiranjeevi's action entertainer, 'Waltair Veerayya'.
NBK essays the characters of Pulicherla Veera Simha Reddy and Jai Simha Reddy, father and son. Veera Simha Reddy is a revered and respected man in a village, while his son Jai lives abroad. When Veera gets killed because of village politics, Jai returns to avenge those who killed his father.
The film will be available for digital viewing on Disney Plus Hotstar starting February 23, 2023 6 pm onwards in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. This will give fans and audiences who missed the film in theaters a chance to watch it and experience Balakrishna’s mesmerizing performance as Veera Simha Reddy.
The film also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Honey Rose, Naveen Chandra, Easwari Rao, Malayalam actor Lal, Murali Sharma, and other notable actors in pivotal roles, in addition to Kannada actor Duniya Vijay making his Telugu debut. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the movie. Mythri Movie Makers produced this movie on a massive scale and Thaman took care of the film’s music.
