Dhanush's period action-adventure film 'Captain Miller' is all set to begin its OTT journey. The film, first part of a trilogy, is directed by Arun Matheswaran who has also written it alongside Arunraja Kamaraj and Madhan Karky and is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films.
The film, which was released on January 12, clashing with multiple films, Captain Miller had a massive start at the box office. But it failed to gain a repeat audience, and it made the film lose its screens.
PLOT: Set in the 1930s-40s in pre-independent India, the movie revolves around the journey of a simple village boy Analeesan/ Eesa, who wants to join the British Indian Army to upgrade his social status. However, due to circumstances, Eesa ends up becoming Captain Miller who is labelled as a dacoit by the British as he orchestrates loots, heists, and assaults. He also saves his village from the attack by the British Army.
Shiva Rajkumar, Nassar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, and Niveditha Sathish played notable roles in this action drama. The film has grossed over ₹104.79 crore.
The film will start streaming on Prime Video from February 9 in Tamil, with dubs in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
