The makers of Rakshan's Marakkuma Nenjam announced that the film will be hitting the theatres on February 2. Directed by Yoagandran, Marakkuma Nenjam marks Rakshan's debut film as the lead character.
Billed as a school drama, the film promises a nostalgic ride filled with memories of classroom atrocities, first crush, back bench fun and others, while also exploring life after school.
Marakkuma Nenjam is Yoagandran's second film after Methagu 2. It is backed by Filia Entertainment and Kuviyam Mediaworks.
Apart from Rakshan, an ensemble cast, including Dheena, Malina, Prankster Rahul, Swetha Venugopal, Ashika Kader, Melvin Dennis, Muthazhagan, Natalie Lourds, Vishvath, Munishkanth, Akila, Arun Kurian, ensures an engaging narrative.
With music by Sachin Warrier, and lyrics by Thamarai, the cinematography and editing are by Gopi Duraisamy and Shashank Malik, respectively.
