Ulaganayangan Kamal Haasan and legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam are coming together for a film, which is titled 'Thug Life' with AR Rahman composing the music. While the shooting of the film all set to begin soon, the huge star cast has some new additions with Gautham Karthik and Joju George joining the team.
Thug Life boasts an ensemble star cast including Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan, Duqluer Salmaan, Abhirami, Nasser, among others. Thug Life marks the sophomore collaboration between Kamal and Mani Ratnam, after the 1987 cult gangster drama Nayakan.
Sharing posters of Gautham Karthik and Joju George, Kamal Haasan's production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, which is producing the film, posted, "Welcome onboard #JojuGeorge & @Gautham_Karthik to the magnificent ensemble of #ThugLife"
An excited Gautham Karthik wrote, "I'm super happy, excited and grateful to be joining hands once again with my guru and mentor #ManiRatnam sir and the one and only #UlagaNayagan @ikamalhaasan sir for their next venture ???"
The cinematography will be handled by Ravi K Chandran, the editing will be done by Sreekar Prasad. Action Choreography for the film will be taken care of by Anbariv.
The film is jointly backed by Kamal's Raaj Kamal Film International, and Mani Ratnam's Madras Talkies. It will be presented by Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies.
