Director Rupak Ronaldson sophomore film Pareshan, set up in the backdrop of Singareni and Coalaries, the movie sheds light on troubles that arise between friends, family and lovers. Masooda fame Thiruveer, Pavani Karanam played the lead roles.

Rudrangi is a periodic action drama written and directed by Ajay Samrat. The story is "The post-colonial powers in India decide to take advantage of the situation and continue to oppress the downtrodden".

The movie revolves around a family of four. Kalabhavan Shajohn plays the father and Asha Sharath essays the mother while Anu Sithara plays one of their two daughters.
