Rohit Shetty’s anticipated period comedy ‘Cirkus’ was released in cinemas on 23rd December 2022. It is based on William Shakespeare's classic play The Comedy of Errors, which also inspired the old Golmaal film. The Bollywood movie featuring Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, and Sanjay Mishra, failed to charm at the box office and One of the biggest Bollywood box office bombs of 2022.
Cirkus is all set to be released on OTT platform NETFLIX. The makers have finally decided the date to stream (February 17th 2023) their comedy film on the digital platform.
Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma played in dual role. The story is about “Two sets of identical twins who are accidentally separated at birth. Several years later, when they are coincidentally in the same town, there is a lot of confusion and misunderstanding when people mistake them for each other.”
