Kranti, starring Darshan, which hit the big screen on January 26, had a successful run at the box-office grossing over Rs 100 crore. Now, the film is set to begin streaming on Prime Video from February 23rd, 2023. V Harikrishna, a musician-turned-director, has undertaken the project's direction and Music. The film marks second collaboration between Harikrishna and Darshan, following 'Yajamana'.
Rachita Ram is paired with Darshan in the film. Darshan's father is played by V Ravichandran. Tarun Arora, Samyukta Hornad, Sumalatha, Sampath Raj, Achyuth Kumar round out the cast. Kranti, a film about a revolution with education as its central topic. Darshan portrays an NRI who travels back to India to help his old school, a Kannada-medium institution. The flick will be available in multiple languages (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam).
As for Darshan’s next, he will be resuming shooting for Tharun Kishore Sudhir’s Kateera.
