Bollywood’s ace filmmaker-cum-music composer Vishal Bhardwaj announced his new project titled Kuttey in June 2022. A caper-thriller, the film marks the feature directorial debut of the filmmaker’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaj. The young director, along with his father, has also written the screenplay of this Kutty.
Aasmaan, in the past had worked, directed several short films such as The Identities (2012), The Thief (2017) and Murder On The Deccan Express (2017) etc. Earlier, he assisted his father in the projects like 7 Khoon Maaf, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Pataakha.
The film was released theatrically on January 13, 2023 and it received mixed reviews but big Box Office Failure.
