Mega Prince Varun Tej recently starred in "Gandeevadhari Arjuna," an action drama directed by Praveen Sattaru, who last helmed The Ghost starring Nagarjuna. This movie, which was released amid many expectations but underwhelming performance at the box office. Sakshi Vaidya played the female lead in this film and this is her second big flop after Akhil Akkineni's Agent.
Nearly a month after its theatrical debut, the flick is gearing up for its OTT release on Netflix, September 24th (Sunday). Interestingly, it’s not limited to Telugu; it’s also available in other major Indian languages – Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Alongside Varun Tej, the movie stars Nassar, Vinay Rai, Vimala Raman, and others in significant roles. The synopsis reads, "A combat officer is tasked with the security of an environmental minister attending a UN summit; there is also a personal reason to fight against climate change and biohazard waste"
As for Varun Tej's future projects, he has two films in the pipeline. First is "Operation Valentine," directed by Shakti Pratap Singh, featuring actress and model Manushi Chhillar. The second film, "Matka," a period drama, will be directed by Karuna Kumar and stars Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Chaudhary alongside Varun Tej.
