Anjali's 'Geethanjali' was one of the big hits among small budget films way back in 2014. The film not only became a box-office success but also acted as a trendsetter for more films in the genre. The makers announced its sequel titled "Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi", is directed by debutant Shiva Turlapati.
Actress Anjali will be playing the lead role, and it's a milestone 50th film in her career. The makers made this announcement with a muhurtham pooja & have released a poster of the sequel. The first look poster features a girl was seen sitting back in the courtyard of a dilapidated bungalow.
Pravin Lakkaraju is composing the music, while Suhatha Siddhartha is handling the cinematography. It is produced by writer Kona Venkat under the banner Kona Films Corporation, in association with MVV Cinemas. Kona Venkat has also penned the story of the film.
