The latest Tamil crime drama Paramporul, starring Sarathkumar and Amitash, is set to make its OTT debut. AHA has announced that the movie will start streaming on its platform on October 24. The flick will also be streaming on Prime Video, Simply South and Tentkotta on the same day.
The flick was written and directed by debutant C. Aravind Raj, was released in cinemas on September 1. The film received praise from critics and audiences, who lauded the premise, performances, visuals, and direction of Paramporul. It failed to make a mark at the box office, owing to its release with two big films, Kick and Kushi.
Plot: It is a story of a smuggling mafia who is scared of temple idols but gets involved with a Police officer to trade a sacred idol, who gets possessed by a murder victim. The film will keep you on the edge of the seats until the end which has a clever twist. The movie also stars Kashmira Pardeshi, director Balaji Sakthivel and T. Siva in the supporting role.
