Karthik Subbaraj is all set to release his highly anticipated Jigarthanda Double X Trailer. SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence plays the lead roles. Jigarthanda Double X is the sequel to the 2014 film Jigarthanda which starred Siddharth and Bobby Simha.
The flick is set to grace the silver screen for this Diwali, on November 10. It will be competing at the box office with RAID and Japan.
The story is set in 1975. The video shows Lawrence as a gangster, who wants to challenge Tamil cinema’s traditional perceptions of skin colour. SJ Suryah plays a director in the film, who was Satyajit Ray’s former assistant and aspires to make a film with Lawrence’s character.
Shine Tom Chacko is then introduced as the 'villain's villain'. Nimisha Sajayan is seen as a tribal woman. Sanjana Natarajan, and Naveen Chandra play key roles in the upcoming film.
S S Thirunavukarasu has handled the cinematography, while the Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music. Editing responsibilities have been shouldered by Shafique Mohamed Ali and is produced by Stone Bench Films & Five Star Creations banners.
